Here is a collection of our most recent books on Butterflies. The information collated in these books includes: life history, haunts and habitats, classification, equipment, mounting. collecting and breeding these beautiful creatures.  Suitable for both novice and serious collector of books and butterfly.  Charming illustrations, indexes, black, white and colour plates, some with photos, and line drawings.

Did you know worldwide there are approximately over 28,000 species of butterfly.  The largest butterfly in the world is the Queen Alexandra’s Birdwing (Ornithoptera alexandrae), with a wing span of 11-1/8 inches (280 mm) and is found only in the rain forest of New Guinea. Unfortunately with destruction happening to its natural habitat this species is facing extinction, as are many others.
